How to make Vanilla cream Swiss roll

Sometimes your child demands to eat delicious Ice-cream or costly cream rolls. But in this costly world, we are hopeless to buy and fulfill our child's demands daily. To cope up with these kinds of problems we are offering you simple and easy tips that helps you make Vanilla Cream a Swiss roll at home with ease. It makes you and your child happy and also hygienic to eat.

Ingredients :
  • For sponge cake
  • 4 eggs
  • 120g cake flour
  • 120g sugar

For vanilla cream
  • 200ml fresh milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 sheet gelatin
  • 20 grams of flour
  • 8 grams of corn flour
  • 40-gram sugar
  • 100ml whipping cream
  • 1/2 tbsp icing sugar
  • vanilla beans

Method
For Sponge Cake
  1. Beat all the 4 eggs and mix with sugar till creamy and pale yellow in color.
  2. Fold in the sifted flour.
  3. Preheated the oven at 200°C and bake it in a sponge tray for 10 to 15mins.

Vanilla cream:
  1. Boil the milk with the vanilla beans.
  2. Then, mix the egg yolk with sugar in a bowl.
  3. Next, add in cornflour and flour, mix all of them properly.
  4. Pour half of the boiling milk in a separate bowl, mix the mixture and cook on low heat till thick.
  5. Pour the remaining hot milk and stir it well until it becomes like a cream. You can also use a blender for stirring.
  6. Soak gelatin in cold water and drain, add to the hot cream. Mix well.
  7. In a cold bowl, beat whipping cream till fluffy and light.
  8. Add icing sugar and Beat for 1 more min.
  9. Fold in the whipped cream with the warm vanilla cream.
  10. Spread on sponge cake.
  11. Roll the cake carefully.
  12. Let it rest in the fridge for 2 hours.
  13. Vanilla cream Swiss roll is ready to serve.
