How to Make Scrambled Eggs and Cheese

Scrambled eggs with cheese are an easy, popular, and quick breakfast dish. It is called by some in the UK, the perfect English breakfast, and it is absolutely delicious and healthy to eat. Eggs do not have to be limited to only eating at breakfast time, but make a tasty, healthy dinner and easy to prepare.

Ingredients :

  • 2 to 3 eggs per person
  • 1 tablespoon grated cheese per person
  • Milk or Sour cream
  • Salt and pepper (optional)
  • Margarine or Butter
  • Food processor or blender
  • Non-stick frying pan
  • Spatula safe for non-stick cookware

Method :

  1. Crack 2 or 3 eggs per person into a medium-sized bowl and be sure to remove any eggshell that may have fallen into the bowl.
  2. Then, pour cream or splash of milk into the eggs. This will help the eggs to keep them fluffy and very light to eat. Remember, you can only use whole milk, skim milk, or low-fat milk in this recipe.
  3. Blend the eggs and milk until they are mix properly. You can also use a blender or food processor to whip up extra fluffy eggs.
  4. Next, place a medium-sized non-stick frying pan on a stove burner and add a few tablespoons of margarine or butter and turn the heat to medium.
  5. Well, when the pan has warmed and the margarine or butter is bubbly then, pour the egg mixture into the pan and cook them over medium heat.
  6. Cook them, until you see the edges start to appear firm.
  7. At this point, stir the eggs with a silicone spatula and mix up them properly.
  8. Allow the eggs to continue cooking, and being sure to stir them frequently with the spatula.
  9. Lower the heat to low when the eggs appear almost cooked all the way through.
  10. Next, sprinkle some grated cheese of your choice into the pan containing the eggs.
  11. Stir well with the spatula to combine.
  12. Finish cooking until the cheese melts, and the scrambled eggs have cooked to your desired doneness.
  13. Remove the scrambled eggs with cheese from the pan and serve it.
  14. Good accompaniments for scrambled eggs with cheese include sausage, bacon, toast or hash browns.
